((small howl)) Meticulously/finely crafted pop songs. Clean, but with super smooth-warm production. It makes you feel floaty and the room feel wider.
It's so good. Favorite track: Music World.

Music World was recorded over a span of 2 years at various locations in Anacortes, Washington. The songs were often glimpses through a grapple with the disillusion and exasperation felt within a generation saturated with artists.

Sole member Paul Benson wonders:
"If everyone you know is doing it, is it still punk? What does it say about me that I live in a weird paradise surrounded by people who are varying versions of me? If I am not adding variety to the world why am I here? Does anyone else ever ask these questions?" While these questions are a big reason for the album’s title, the songs deal with many other topics like history, minimal lifestyle, self-worth, and imperfect memory. We see a positive side of sheltering a fragile music lifestyle while going broke and feeling redundant in the real world. The song Curb Again claims that “without proper bed comfort grows”.

"Music World" is also the name given to the musical intent of the record. It aims to conjure live performance in a space played by a band with instruments, but it is not that. While songs like Recorded History, Curb Again, and Director's Chair are easy to imagine this way, there is a dry synthetic feeling to the whole record. But the extraterrestrial idolizing and mimicking the human is part of the charm, even the theme. For example, an excerpt from Director’s Chair sympathizes with characters: “…staring back/ alien in baseball hat/ Christian in distressed jeans/ de Corti as crying chief…”. We are confronted with their wonky desire to belong. Will we accept them?
